Publication of Clinician Survey
The National Dementia Office recently undertook a survey of clinicians to identify practices in relation to dementia diagnosis and post-diagnostic supports across Ireland. Responses were received from 35% of clinicians involved in dementia diagnosis and one of the key findings was the importance of collaboration with a core group of Health and Social Care Practitioners identified as having a key role to play in dementia assessment and diagnosis. The report findings will inform the development of diagnostic and post-diagnostic services and supports into the future.
