The DSiDC’s education and training programme are directed mainly at Health and Social Care professionals. They also deliver bespoke training in nursing homes and other venues around the country. In addition, DSiDC regularly give talks or education sessions to a variety of different community groups, businesses, organisations and other professionals outwith the health and social care sectors. All of their work is underpinned by a person-centred philosophy that views dementia as a disability and the belief that much can be done to enhance the quality of life of the person diagnosed with dementia. They use a range of teaching and learning strategies in the delivery of our courses to enhance the learning experience and we strive to create a relaxed atmosphere where participants are encouraged to contribute and respect others’ contribution.

Please contact their Education teamto discuss any training and education requirements.
