Postgraduate Studies in Dementia Programme UCC
Postgraduate Studies in Dementia
This is a flexible, interdisciplinary programme covering key topics in dementia care, offered by the Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation, School of Medicine, University College Cork. The programme was shortlisted for “Best New Course” by Grad Ireland in 2019. There are three streams of study available:
- Masters
- Postgraduate Certificate
- Individual CPD modules, such as:
- Understanding Cognitive Disorders and Dementia
- Advanced Issues in Dementia Care
The programme is available full-time or part-time and can be tailored to your interests with a wide range of optional modules. Most modules are delivered as blended learning and therefore suit students who wish to study remotely and commute for the in-class workshops. Applications are currently being invited, and the next intake of the programme will commence in September 2022.
