Who is the programme suitable for?

This programme is designed to support the person with dementia and their nominated family member or friend.

Brief description

The aim of this group is to discuss a dementia diagnosis in a safe environment. To provide advice and practical strategies to help the person cope with cognitive deficits and to provide education to the family. The group also looks at issues such as diet, lifestyle, driving, and planning for the future i.e. Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA) and Advanced Healthcare Directives (AHD).
