Invitation to the launch of Understand Together

Come and stand together with the 500,000 people affected by dementia in Ireland.


On Monday, 24th October 2016, Helen McEntee TD, Minister for Mental Health and Older People, will officially launch a new Dementia Awareness Campaign led by the HSE entitled:

Understand Together


We welcome you to join us, our partners, people with dementia and carers, public and private organisations, voluntary and community groups, local businesses, professional bodies and academics that are making a commitment to stand together with people living with dementia.


Any one of us can get dementia.
Every one of us can make a difference by understanding more.


Venue: City Hall, Dame St, Dublin 2.
Date: Monday, 24th October 2016 from 10am - 11am.

Travelling to City Hall:
Please use public transport where possible. Access to City Hall is by the main entrance on Dame St. For people with limited mobility, there is lift access from Barnardos Square on Dame St. There are public car parks close by at Drury St and Christchurch.
