Dementia Care Seminar 28th March at St. Mary's Hospital, Dublin

Dementia Care Seminar by The Older Person and Dementia Interest Group (OPDIG)

A study afternoon organised to coincide with the reprint of the Nutrition and Dementia booklet. Bringing expert speakers together to discuss dementia care across the acute, community and residential care settings. Speakers include:

  • Micheál Rowsome, artist and carer, Dementia Carers Campaign Network (DCCN), Alzheimer Society of Ireland
  • Mary Claire Walsh, Clinical Dietitian, dietetic representative on Geriatric Emergency Medicine Committee, St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny
  • Vandana Iqbal, Assistant Director of Nursing, Clonskeagh Community Nursing Unit and Maria McKenna, senior community dietitian on introducing the Butterfly Project into a residential setting

Free Parking. Registration for the event will commence at 12.45.

Lunch will be served from 1 pm
